I’m sure there are many blogs out there devoted solely to the commercials of Japan. I don’t want to make a habit of posting them on this site, but I have been meaning to write a post about a particular celebrity who helps advertise for a company that sells iced coffee. His name is Tommy Lee Jones.
I wanted to post one more commercial, but unfortunately it’s not available. I first saw the 30 second clip during the summer Olympics in September. It featured the athlete who threw the hammer for Japan in the track and field events. The commercial begins inside an arena where the athlete prepares to wield his enormous ball and chain. When he releases, it turns into what I believe is an industrial sized rototiller.
